Please join us on March 10 to talk about the "Anniversary Problem" in Programming.

Following back to back exhibitions on the Sesquicentennial of the Civil War and the Centennial of World War I, staff at the Missouri State Museum were a little “anniversary’d” out. With the Bicentennial of Missouri Statehood looming, staff decided they wanted their next exhibits to stray from the traditional anniversary blueprint The resulting Bicentennial Timeline and Missouri Trailblazers exhibits reimagined what an anniversary could look like (literally).

Please join Tiffany Patterson, Sophie Grus, Katherine Owens, and Jamie Henry to discuss the exhibit development process during staff turnover and a once in 200 years event.
