The world of textile curation is filled with expensive materials and skills-needed work. What if nobody on your staff knows how to sew? What if you simply do not have the budget, especially in these times, to care for textiles when keeping staff paid is the priority? This webinar will show you low and no cost ways to make proper storage for textile collections- even if you can't sew, even if you don't know what different fabrics are, even if textiles are a complete mystery. In addition, I will discuss a local grant available to any Missouri museum that could help you get needed supplies for free.
