Understanding the Health and Status of Museums During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Missouri museums and archives, whose annual economic impact is $852 million, lost an estimated $2.3 million per day during the height of the closures. We need to gather more details so that we can make sure that legislators and other financial supporters do not forget us.

The Missouri Association for Museums and Archives (MAMA) has joined with other state museum associations through the Council of State Museum Associations to generate a comparable dataset. This will allow us to can convey the impact of this public health crisis on our sector at both the state and national level.

Please add your data and share this survey link with colleagues at other Missouri cultural institutions to help us collect responses across museums and archives of all sizes and regions of the state.

Thank you in advance for your time and sharing your information. We will collect responses through November 30, 2020

You can enter the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SMADay2020

It's a short, 13 question survey. All individual data will be kept confidential. Statewide aggregate data will be shared with all participants.

We wish you and yours well in this uncertain time.

Thank you.
